Carburetor Heater
Carburetor Heater Inspection
Remove
the fuel
tank (page 2-4).
Disconnect the carburetor heater
2P
connector.
Measure
the resistance
between
the
Brown/Black and
Yellow/Brown
terminals.
Standard: 13 - 15
fl
(20°C/68°F)
If
the carburetor heater resistance
is
out
of specification,
remove
the carburetor (page 19-17)
and
replace the carbu-
retor heater.

Check
the voltage between
the
Brown/Blue
and Green
ter-
minals with the
ignition switch
is
ON.
There should be
battery voltage.
