equivalent ambient noise. Your ES80 must be set to Passive mode.

If you wish to switch to Passive mode, use the

LFM transmissions
When you work with LFM transmission,
the noise is presented in a plot. The plot
shows the noise level as a function of
the transmission frequency. The noise
estimated, in dB relative to 1W, is shown
in a box.

Select

If you wish to switch pulse type between
CW and LFM, use the
Normal Operation
dialog box. Before selecting LFM
transmissions, make sure that your
ES80 is provided with a compatible
transducer!

noise is presented in text boxes.
