DRIVE BAND REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
Removal
CAUTION
The drive band can be easily damaged. Do not bend, dent,
or scratch the drive band.

Power off.
Disconnect the head cable connector mfrom the
diskette drive control card

and remove the
head cable from the cable guide

Remove the cable guide

to attach the end of the drive band
with the welded adapter

carriage bracket. Do not tighten the screw.
Use the screw

drive band must be parallel to the edge of the pulley.
Use the screw Band the clamp

to attach the
other end of the drive band to the carriage bracket.
The drive band must be parallel to the carriage
bracket.
