Playing/searching at various speeds

Before you start...

Playback options
View the picture during
fast-forward or rewind
Play at high speed
Play at twice the normal
speed
Play in slow motion
Play frame by frame
Rewind and start play
To resume normal playback
Press H LECTURE.
Using the shuttle ring
With the shuttle ring, you can
operate a variety of playback
options. There are two ways for
using the shuttle ring, normal mode
and jog mode.

Operation
During fast-forward, hold down M AV/M. During rewind,
hold down m RET/m.
During playback, press M AV or m RET on the remote
commander.
During playback, hold down M AV/M or m RET/m.
When you release the button, normal playback resumes.
During playback, press ×2.
During playback, press y RALENTI.
During pause, press M AV or m RET on the remote
commander. Hold down M AV or m RET to play one
frame each second.
During stop, press H (play) on the VCR while holding down
m on the VCR.
