USING WIRELESS CONTROLLERS

TRANSFERRING PRIORITY BETWEEN CONTROLLERS

To control the water delivery temperatures when using two or more
controllers it is necessary to have priority transferred to the water
controller you wish to use.
An illuminated Transfer
water controller is in control of the water delivery temperature. If the
Transfer
indicator is not illuminated press the 'Transfer'
button to transfer priority to the desired water controller.
The Transfer
illuminate indicating that control of the water delivery temperature has
been transferred and that the water heater is ready to supply hot water
once a hot water tap is opened.
Whilst hot water outlets are open transfer of 'priority' between controllers is not
possible. This is a safety feature.
NOTE
TEMPERATURE DISPLAY RESPONSE TIME
When the temperature setting is changed on a particular wireless controller, there may
be a delay of up to 15 seconds before other controllers display the new temperature.
This is due to the wireless radio communications and not a malfunction.
HOT WATER CONTROL
Temperatures higher than 50°C should only be able to be selected on the controller
used for the kitchen, not on controllers used in bathrooms, ensuites or toilets. This
helps minimise the risk of burns. The wireless transceiver has been incorrectly
assigned if temperatures in excess of 50°C are able to be selected on controllers used
in bathrooms, toilets and laundries. Re-assign the wireless transceiver if this is the
case. See "UN-ASSIGNING AND RESETTING WIRELESS CONTROLLERS" on page 12
and "INSTALLING WIRELESS WATER CONTROLLERS" on page 11

WIRELESS CONTROLLERS BATTERIES

Wireless water controllers use 4 x 1.5V AA
batteries. The battery symbol in the display monitor
indicates the remaining charge in one of three levels.
To replace the batteries:
1. Remove the controller from its' wall mounting bracket.
2. Using a coin or a suitable screw driver open the battery compartment with a ¼ anti-clockwise turn
of both locks.
3. Insert the batteries observing the correct polarity as shown on the rear of the controller.
4. Using a coin or a suitable screw driver close the battery compartment with a ¼ clockwise turn of
both locks.
5. Return the controller to its' wall mounting bracket.
Use only 4 x 1.5V AA ALKALINE batteries. NEVER mix old and new batteries.
Battery life is approximately 1 year.
IMPORTANT
Remove batteries if the remote control is not going to be used for a long period. This
will help avoid damage from leaking batteries.
