Standard Programs

7.1.1

Microsoft Pocket Word

Microsoft Pocket Word provides you with a reduced range of the functions of
Microsoft Word. You can create new documents on your MOBIC or copy
documents from a host computer to your MOBIC.
Since Microsoft Word (*.doc) and Microsoft Pocket Word (*.pwd) use different file
formats, ActiveSync converts the file formats during transfer.
Starting
To start Pocket Word:
Tap on the icon for Microsoft Pocket Word in the Start->Programs menu.
7.1.2

Microsoft Inbox

Microsoft Inbox includes functions for sending and receiving E-mails.
Using ActiveSync (see Section 5.1), you can synchronize data in Microsoft Outlook
on your host computer with the data in Inbox on your MOBIC.
Starting
Tap on Inbox in the Start->Programs menu.
