SECTION 1
PRELIMINARIES
The functional tests are divided into two parts:
1. The operational tests are intended to ensure that all of the interconnected system components are
operating properly (for different techniques).
2. The performance tests are intended to check that the system's components conform to their
operating specifications.

Switch system ON from the MPH Console.

Test all movements, functionalities and limit positions of the Table by referring to the Operator Manual

Patient Support
SID Display
Positioning the Bucky
Cassette Tray
Tomography
Grid Oscillation
Note: Operate cafefully by testing safety and limitation devices simultaneously.

Technique Tests
From the MPH Console, select the various techniques in turn and check for the correct functionning of
each of them by referring to :
Operator Manual, Chapter 3 for operating instructions,
MPH Operator Manual for setting parameters or any other selection of data as required (as for the
Automatic Exposure device).
