Loading a tape

Press Z PUSH.

Load a recorded/recordable tape into
the cassette holder.
With the side you
want to play/record
facing up

Playing a tape

You can use Type I (normal) tape.

Load a recorded tape into the cassette
holder.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
"TAPE" appears in the display.

Press DIRECTION (or DIR MODE on the
remote) repeatedly to select " " to
play one side of the tape, "
both sides, or "
sides repeatedly.
* The tape automatically stops after playing back
five times.

Press TAPE nN.
Press TAPE nN again to play the
reverse side. The tape starts playing back.

To Do this
Press x.
Stop playback
Press TAPE X (or X on the
Pause
remote). Press again to
resume playback.
Fast-forward or With the tape stopped, press
rewind m/M.
Press Z PUSH.
