Adjusting the brightness
of the display back light
Press DIMMER repeatedly while the
system is on.
You can adjust the back light brightness
cyclically as follows:

Checking the remaining time
(CD)
Press DISPLAY during play.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
Elapsed playing time on the current track t
Remaining time on the current track* t
Remaining time on the CD t Clock display
t Effect name
* "--:--" appears when you select a CD track whose
number is over 21.
Checking the total playing
time (CD)
Press DISPLAY in stop mode.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
Total number of tracks and total playing time
t Clock display t Effect name
Checking the station name
(Tuner)
Press DISPLAY.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
Station name*t Frequencyt Program
type*t Clock display t Effect name
* Displayed only when radio station name or other
information is received (see "Using the Radio Data
