Confirming/saving the
measurement result

Confirm the measurement result.
When the measurement ends, a beep sounds
and the measurement result appears on the
top panel display.

Explanation
SAVE EXIT
Saves the measurement result
and exits the setting process.
WRN CHECK
Displays warning concerning
the measurement result. See
"When you select "WRN
CHECK"" (page 27).
DIST INFO
Displays the measurement
result for speaker distance.
LEVEL INFO
Displays the measurement
result for speaker level.
EXIT
Exits the setting process
without saving the
measurement result.
Note
• After "SAVE EXIT" is displayed for 50 seconds, the
measurement result is saved automatically, without
the need to saving procedure.

Press x/X repeatedly to select the
desired item, then press
return, press C or RETURN.

Save the measurement result.
Select "SAVE EXIT" in step 2, then press
.
The measurement result is saved.
When error codes appear
Try the remedies and perform the Auto
Calibration again.

Explanation
The front speakers are not
connected.
Check that the front speakers
are connected properly.
Either the surround left or
surround right speaker is not
connected.
Check that the surround
speakers are connected
properly.
The subwoofer may be
damaged.
Contact your Sony dealer or
local authorized Sony service
facility.
Explanation
The Auto Calibration has
completed. However, the noise
level is high. You may be able
to perform the Auto Calibration
properly if you try it again, even
though the measurement cannot
be performed in all
environments. Try to perform
the Auto Calibration in a quiet
environment.
The sound input from the
calibration mic is out of the
acceptable range. The distance
between the calibration mic and
the speakers is too closed. Set
them away, and then try to
perform the Auto Calibration.
The distance and position of the
subwoofer cannot be detected.
This may be caused by noise.
Try to perform the Auto
Calibration in a quiet
environment.
There is no warning
information.
