Select "Video" or "Photo," and press
ENTER.
If you select "Video," and want to format
DVD-RWs and unrecorded DVD-Rs
(Video mode), select "VR" or "Video,"
and press ENTER.
Select "Photo" if you want to copy JPEG
image files.
All contents on the disc are erased.

• By reformatting, you can change the recording
format on DVD-RWs, or record again on DVD-
RWs that have been finalised.
• You can format DATA DVDs to copy JPEG
image files from the HDD.

On this model, 1 GB (read "gigabyte") is equivalent
to 1 billion bytes. The larger the number, the larger
the disc space.
