ADVANCED CARGO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM*
A storage compartment is located in the floor of the rear cargo
area. The cover operates on friction hinges. Lift up on the handle
to open the cover. To close, lower the cover. With the advanced
system, there is an additional cover with an extra storage
compartment underneath. This cover also operates on friction
hinges. Lift up on the handle to open the cover. To close, lower
the cover.

FORWARD DIVIDER
To move the board into the divider position, lift up on the handle
and position the board vertically at a 90° angle. The board can be
put in any position between a 0° and a 90° angle.

CARGO SHELF
Note:
Before moving the board into the shelf or rear barrier
(bulkhead) position, you may need to flip down the hooks.
To move the board into the shelf position, lift the board and move
it to the horizontal position. Once the board is horizontal, insert
the forward-facing nubs into the hooks on either side.
For the short wheel base system, it is necessary for the second
panel located toward the front of the vehicle to be raised up when
the seats are folded down. For the long wheel base system, it is
necessary for the second panel located toward the front of the
vehicle to be raised up.

REAR BARRIER (BULKHEAD POSITION)
To move the board into the rear barrier or bulkhead position, lift
the board and move it to the vertical position. Once the board is
vertical, insert the rearward-facing nubs into the hooks on
either side.

REMOTE START*
Remote start allows you to start the engine from outside your
vehicle using your key. To start, press
and then press
within three seconds.
When inside, you must press the push button ignition switch on
the instrument panel once while applying the brake pedal before
driving your vehicle. To switch the engine off from outside the
vehicle after using your remote start, press
once.
An LED on the key provides status feedback of remote start or
stop commands:
Solid green: The remote start or extension was successful.
Solid red: The remote stop was successful and the engine is off.
Blinking green: Request failed or status not received.
Blinking green: Status incomplete.
AMBIENT LIGHTING*
To access and make adjustments, use your touchscreen.
1. Press the Settings icon then select Ambient Lighting.
2. Touch the color you desire.
3. Move the color up or down to increase or decrease
the intensity.
To switch the feature on or off, touch the selected color again.

POWER LIFTGATE OPERATION*
You can open your power liftgate three different ways:
twice
• Push the control on the instrument panel.
• Press the control on your remote entry transmitter twice
within three seconds.
• Press the liftgate control on the inside of the liftgate handle.
To close with the rear cargo area
button, press and release the
control on the left rear quarter
trim panel. To open the liftgate
window, press the control near
the rear view camera. For more
information, refer to the Power
Liftgate chapter in your
Owner's Manual.
HANDS-FREE LIFTGATE OPERATION
1. Stand behind your vehicle, facing the liftgate.
2. Move your foot in a single kick motion, without pausing, under
and away from the rear bumper detection area.
3. The liftgate opens or closes.
Note:
Allow the power system to open the liftgate. Manually
pushing or pulling the liftgate may activate the system's obstacle
detection feature and stop the power operation, reverse its direction
or damage the system.

LIFTGATE WINDOW*
To open the liftgate window, press the release button above the
license plate. You can then pull the liftgate glass upward.
MEMORY FEATURE*
The memory function saves and recalls the positions of the
driver seat, power mirrors, tilt and telescoping steering column*
and adjustable pedals.* Use the memory controls on the driver
seat to program and then recall memory positions.
To program
1. Switch on the ignition.
2. Move the memory features to the positions you desire.
3. Press and hold the 1 button until you hear a tone.
Use this same procedure to set the second and third positions
using the 2 and 3 buttons.
You can now use these controls to recall the set
memory positions.
You can also program your memory seat to your transmitter.
That way, when you unlock your door with the transmitter, your
memory features automatically move into your saved positions.
