Error Responses

When the SME is unable to execute the command, it returns an error response to the host.
The error response codes and their descriptions are as follows:
– Unrecognized command
E10
– Invalid port number
E12
– Invalid parameter (number is out of range)
E13
– Not valid for this configuration
E14
– Invalid command for signal type
E17
– System timed out
E18

Using the Command and Response Tables

The
Command and Response Tables
represent variables in the command and response fields. Command and response examples
are shown throughout the table. The SIS commands are not case sensitive. The conversion
table below is for use with the command and response table.
