Previewing Photos

You can play back only discs created with
the DVDirect.
b Notes
• You cannot play back discs created with a video
device other than the DVDirect. The DVDirect
does not support playback of commercial DVDs
or contents on a memory card inserted to the
DVDirect.
• When you preview a video, there is no sound.
• You cannot output videos to an external device,
such as a TV.

Turn on the DVDirect and insert a
disc created with the DVDirect.
z Hint
• If you insert a finalized disc after turning on the
DVDirect, playback will start automatically (or,
photos or the DVD Menu will appear). You can
skip steps 2 and 3.

Press the RETURN button.
The [Menu] display appears.

Press V or v to select [DVD
Preview], and press the ENTER
button.
Photos appear when a disc without
creating slideshow or an unfinalized
disc is inserted. When a slideshow disc
is inserted, the prompt message [Photo
preview options] appears. Go to step 4.

Press V or v to select [Photo
Slideshow], and press the ENTER
button.
The DVD Menu appears. When you
select a title and press the ENTER
button, photos within the title are
automatically played in rotation.
To display the selected photos, select
[Original Photos].
