6. maintenance
6.1.

General maintenance

6.1.1.
ensure the machine is unplugged from the power supply.
6.1.2.
disconnect the hose from the unit.
6.1.3.
undo the clasps and remove motor head from the drum.
6.1.4.
Withdraw filter (see 6.2 for cleaning directions).
6.1.5.
clear out any dirt or debris from the drum and hose.
6.1.6.
clean the body (inside and out) by washing it in a mild soapy solution. dry thoroughly.
clean the machine head (inside and out) using a damp cloth. dO nOt over-moisten.
6.1.7.
6.1.8.
check the power cable to make sure that it is not damaged.
6.2.
clOtH Filter maintenance
6.2.1.
Handle the filter carefully when cleaning, drying or installing.
6.2.2.
With machine head removed carefully remove the filter and inspect for damage. A filter that has small tears or holes in it will not
perform efficiently and should be replaced.
6.2.3.
Use a soft brush to remove dust from the filter (both internal and external surfaces).
6.2.4.
Use tap or shower to rinse the filter. Work from inside to outside for a best results.
dO nOt attempt to dry the filter by using any form of direct heat i.e. air blower. Store the cleaned filter in a well ventilated place in
