8.3 Installing the controller

NOTICE!
The control unit and the DC-DC converter must not be exposed to direct
sunlight.

NOTE
If you are using an SD card to store the video data, install the control unit
in an easily accessible place in the vehicle. If you are using a USB stick to
store the video data, route the USB cable (fig. c 5,page 7) to an easily
accessible location.
The control unit is supplied ready for installation.
➤ Install the control unit in a location protected from water near the monitor, pref-
erably under the dashboard or under the driver's seat.
➤ Secure the control unit in place using the included bolts.
8.4 Installing the DC-DC converter
The DC-DC converter is prepared to be ready for installation.
➤ Install the DC-DC converter in a location protected from water near the monitor,
preferably under the dashboard or under the driver's seat. Secure the control
unit in place using the included bolts.
8.5 Installing the infrared receiver
➤ For the infrared receiver, select an installation location near your monitor.
➤ Secure the infrared receiver with the included double-sided tape.
