Troubleshooting
Cause and/or Corrective Actions
Slow flashing:
• There is less than 5 minutes remaining on the tape.
• No cassette is inserted.*
• The write-protect tab on the cassette is set to lock (p. 116).*
Fast flashing:
• The tape has run out.*
Slow flashing:
• The write-protect tab on the cassette is set to lock (p. 116).
Fast flashing:
• Moisture condensation has occurred (p. 122).
• The self-diagnosis display code is displayed (p. 111).
• The image is protected (p. 101).
• The write-protect tab on the "Memory Stick" is set to lock (p. 118).
Slow flashing:
• During charging
Fast flashing:
• The self-diagnosis display code is displayed (p. 111).*
• There is something wrong with the built-in flash or the external flash
(optional).
