3. Center and level tripod over point to be
surveyed.
4. Attach HI Measurement Plate to tribrach
adapter.
5. Securely thread tribrach adapter on to the Z-
Max .
6. Place Z-Max onto the tripod.
7. Measure and record instrument height (HI) as
shown in Figure 8.
