Preventive measure against a symptom that a dowel pin is detached from the feeder assembly

Detail:

Jam (0117) occurs when small size paper is used.

<Cause>

The gap of the drive roller [1] at the feeder assembly is wide due to the poor mold, that causes a dowel pin [3],

which is fixed at the ditch [2], to detach and results in the stop of rotation of feeder belt. Then, the jam occurs.

Page 2 iR6570-001 <Factory Measure> Temporary measure: if the drive roller has the thrust gap of 1mm or more, attach a 1mm-thick washer [1]. Permanent measure: increase the molding accuracy of the drive roller so that the thrust gap can be reduced to zero.
