• The image can be saved on the USB flash drive, but
the saved image cannot be read nor deleted. Use on the
connected computer to read or delete it.
• Backup files of the USB flash drive to your computer
before using the USB flash drive with this device. If
files of the USB flash drive are broken or deleted, it is
not guaranteed.
Notes on the USB connector (type A)
• It is compatible with the USB mass storage.
Operations for all types of USB flash drive are not
guaranteed.
• Connection of the USB connector (type A) to the USB
flash drive through a hub is not guaranteed.
• It is compatible with USB Hi-Speed.
• Corresponding file systems are FAT16 and FAT32.
• The USB flash drive with more than one driver cannot
be used.
• It does not correspond to the USB flash drive with a
special feature such as encryption.
If it is hard to connect the USB flash drive to the
USB connector (type A) on the rear of this unit
Use the supplied USB flash drive ex cable.
Note
Do not use a USB flash drive ex cable other than the
cable for this unit.
When a USB extension cable, etc. other than that
designated for this unit used, the following failures may
occur. Image file writing failures, destruction of files
saved in the USB flash drive, or malfunctioning of the
USB flash drive.
