7. Drain Pan Unit / Swing Motor

Step
1. Remove the drain pan
unit.
Remove the screw at
1
the right side of the
drain pan unit.
Press the right side of

the drain pan unit and
twist the left side.
Remove the drain pan
3
unit from the indoor
unit.
2. Remove the swing motor.
Remove the screw of
1
the swing motor.
Pull out the swing
2
motor.
Removal Procedure
Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before
disassembling work.

Drain Pan Unit / Swing Motor
Points
Inserting a wooden base
beneath the unit facilitates
the removing work.
Lift up the indoor unit slightly
and pull out the drain hose.
Place a plastic sheet under
the drain pan to prevent
from wetting the floor with
remaining drain.
When reassembling, make
sure that the hook at the left
side is fitted in the groove.
