7. When starting, break until the tool bit breaks through, then reposition the bit. Do not use the tool bit as a lever
to move material.
Note: Never cool a hot tool bit in water. Tools can become brittle and can fail.
8. Continue breaking around the original hole, in 2 inch sized bites.
9. Release Trigger to stop the tool.
Note: If you encounter a breakdown or the tool stops for any reason, release the trigger and power down
the hydraulic power source.
COLD WEATHER OPERATION
If the breaker is to be used during cold weather, preheat the hydraulic fluid at low engine speed. When using the
normally recommended fluid, fluid temperature should be at or above 50 °F/10 °C (400 ssu/82 centistokes) before
use.
Damage to the hydraulic system or breaker can result from use with fluid that is too viscous or thick.
