CHECK A FOLLOWING STEPS
〔fig. 1〕Resistance of sensor
(temp. power module)

Take off the connector,
and measure the resistance between 3 and
4 in the connector.

Measure the voltage between
the connector pins in the back
of PCB (TAN main) during
cooling operation.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
check the point of leakage measure the pressure of compressor
GAS LEAKAGE
during fixed operation (operation frequency 58 Hz)
SENSOR, TEMP. ROOM check the resistance by tester [see table 1]
check the resistance by tester [see table 2]
4-WAY VALVE
check the resistance by tester [see fig.4]
SHORT CYCLE
check the blockage of air inlet & outlet of TAN, TAG
(INSUFFICIENT AIR CIRCULATION)
check the drain hose by eyes (it might be folded or choked)
DRAINAGE
check the TAN whether lean or not
MIS-INSTALLATION
check the resistance of coil (2-way valve) by tester
2-WAY VALVE(TAN)
(in case of dry operation) [see fig.5]
FILTER IS CHOKED
check by eyes and clean it
NO USE FOR A LONG TIME
NASTY SMELL
use deodorizer
(CIGARETTE, FURNITURE, ETC.)
LOUVER MOTOR check the resistance by tester [see fig.6]
〔fig. 2〕Continuity of current fuse on the PCB (TAG main)
FUSE
Take off the connectors 1 & 5 on the PCB (TAG main), and
check the continuity.

※ Take off the connector and check the Resistance
of 4-way valve coil
〔fig. 7〕Resistance of Power module
Normal:360 ∼ 390Ω
common terminal
360∼390Ω
Measure the resistance, six times between
U-V, V-W, W-U respectively by changing
the polarity,and if all the figures show
infinite (more than hundreds of k Ω ) then
it is normal condition.
