► Close the lever (1) of the quick release clamp (2).
The shaft (3) can no longer be pushed in or pulled out
and the lever (1) is seated against the quick-action
clamp (2).
► If the lever (1) of the quick release clamp (2) cannot be
closed properly:
► Open the lever (1) of the quick release clamp (2) half
way.
► Loosen the screw (4).
► Close the lever (1) of the quick release clamp (2).
The shaft (3) can no longer be pushed in or pulled out
and the lever (1) is seated against the quick-action
clamp (2).

9 Removing and Fitting the Battery

Fitting the Battery

► Push the battery (1) into the battery compartment (2) as
far as stop.
The battery (1) engages in position with a click.
9.2

Removing the Battery

► Place the pole pruner on a level surface.
► Hold one hand in front of the battery compartment to
ensure the battery (2) does not fall out.

► Depress both locking levers (1).
The battery (2) is unlocked and can be removed.

10 Switching Pole Pruning On and Off

10.1 Switching On

► Hold the pole pruner with one hand on the control handle
– wrap your thumb around the control handle.
► Hold the pole pruner firmly with your other hand on the
handle hose - wrap your thumb around the handle hose.
► Push the retaining latch (1) with your thumb to position
► Depress the trigger lockout (2) with your hand and hold it
there.
► Pull the trigger (3) with your index finger and hold it there.
The motor is accelerated and the chain rotates.
