Commissioning
1. Remove all of the packaging material from the
appliance.
2. Connect the power cable with the power supply
unit 1: Insert the plug 2 of the power cable into
the socket on the power supply unit 1. Secure the
connection by firmly tightening the coupling ring 3.
3. Lead the power cable 5 through one of the
chases 4 on the base of the flower pot, so that
the flower pot itself does not stand on the power
cable 5.
4. Insert the power supply unit 1 into a correctly
installed mains power socket.
Remote control
To operate the remote control you will need a button
battery CR2025, 3 V.
To insert the battery and/or change the battery,
proceed as follows:

• Pull the battery compartment w out of the remote
control, by first pressing the lateral locking device
and then drawing the battery compartment w
outwards.
• Remove the depleted battery, then insert a new
battery of the type CR2025 (Button battery) into
the battery compartment w. Ensure that you
correctly insert the battery in regard to its polarity
(see illustration).
• Slide the battery compartment w back into the
remote control.
