OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Charging Instructions Connect the charger plug to the charging jack or hole on the side of the sweeper. Plug the charging adapter into the wall outlet. (120V., 60Hz.) Use only charger KA12D075015023U. (Fig. 2) Charging Indicator This cordless sweeper is powered by Ni-Cd batteries. Before first use, they must be charged for a minimum 20 hours.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Carefully lift out the battery pack and disconnect the wire terminals by pulling apart the wire terminal connectors. Remove the battery pack from the unit. (Fig. 5) Wire Terminal Connector Connect the wire terminal connector from the unit to the wire terminal connector of the new battery pack, and replace the battery pack into the unit.
