※ The above temperatures are standard values under the condition that the refrigerator is stable with no food stored and
the door closed, at ambient temperatures of 30 º C.
This applies to both 5-door and 6-door refrigerators.
■ Push the button to enter Energy Saving mode. "節電 (Energy Saving)" display comes on with the push of
the button.
To stop "節電 (Energy Saving)" mode, push
off "節電 (Energy Saving)" indicator lamp.
"
(Energy Saving)" mode allows effective energy saving.
The mode includes:
● Automatic temperature control to lower cooling loads in each compartment.
● Turning down the LED light in the Refrigerator Compartment and the LED light
in the Vacuum Compartment if the door of the Refrigerator Compartment is left
open for more than 30 seconds.
Notice
● When both "節電 (Energy Saving)" and "急冷凍 (Quick Freezing)"/"急冷藏 (Quick Cooling)" modes are set concurrently, the
LED light in the Refrigerator Compartment is turned down, but "急冷凍 (Quick Freezing)"/"急冷藏 (Quick Cooling)" function
is performed fi rst while weakening cooling function is interrupted. "急冷凍 (Quick Freezing)"/"急冷藏 (Quick Cooling)"
indicator lamps are turned off and it will be set to "節電 (Energy Saving)" mode after "急冷凍 (Quick Freezing)"/"急冷藏 (Quick
Cooling)" operations are completed.
● When both "節電 (Energy Saving)" and "蔬果室強 (Vegetable Compartment (MAX))" modes are set concurrently, the cooling
function will be weakened from the "蔬果室強 (Vegetable Compartment (MAX))".
● When the temperature in the "Freezer Compartment"/"Refrigerator Compartment" is set to "弱 (MIN)" , it will not be weakened
so as to maintain the freshness of foods while LED lights in the Refrigerator Compartment and the Vacuum Compartment are
turned down.
Caution
● Automatic temperature control lowers cooling loads, which may cause ice cream to get soft and frost to form on
frozen food. It also requires longer freezing time and ice making time.
