HOW TO MAINTAIN THE AUTOMATIC ICE MAKER

When using for the fi rst time / When not used for more than one week
Washing the supply channel (Ice Maker Cleaning)
Ice tray and water supply line can be washed.
Be sure to check the followings before starting the operation.
● Water supply container
・Water is fi lled in it.
・The container is set properly as specifi ed.
● Ice case
・If there remains ice, remove it.
Go to the next step after checking them.
Lay a soft clean towel on the

bottom of the ice case.
This is to suck water drained from Ice Maker Cleaning, preventing it
from spilling out of a cutout located behind in the Ice Maker case.
Push the button and hold it for more than 5 seconds

after closing all the doors and turning on the display.
When the three indicator lamps "
Making)" and "停止 (Stop)" start to blink and alarm starts to sound, stop
holding the button. "
Push this button for
more than 5 seconds
・ The indicator lamp will fl ash and the buzzer will sound for about 3 minutes.
・ " (Ice Maker Cleaning)" can ' t be interrupted.
・ If you open any of the refrigerator doors during Ice Maker Cleaning, the cleaning
may not work properly. Do not open or close the door until cleaning is completed.
・Door alarm sounds even if alarm is disabled.
About three minutes later, when alarm and blinking

end, remove water in the ice case using the towel.
There is no problem with using
water remaining in the water
supply container, if any.
Ice tray
Push the button to stop supplying water to the ice tray

and turn on the " (Stop)" indicator lamp. (Stop ice making)
※ If the indicator lamp
fl ashes, perform the
following operation after
the " 停止 (Stop) " lamp is
turned on in 1 minute.
Open the Ice Compartment Door.

Push the level laterally.

Raise the cover ( ▲ part) in the direction of the arrow.

Remove the ice tray from the frame.

● When the frame for the ice tray cannot be pushed into the back, the motor that drives the ice-tray may have operated. Remove the ice tray and then push the frame alone into
the back, and then push the with all the doors opened to turn on "
● If you set ice making to "Stop" and do not intend to use the auto ice maker for some time, wash and dry the water supply container
and then mount it in place.
● In particular, dry the water fi lter thoroughly.
To prevent malfunction, lay the

● Remove the seal from the lid and wash it with a soft wash sponge.
