General operation

Switching on, off or mute

The device is switched on by briefly pressing the rotary knob
when inserting the vehicle key. The last audio source is played back in the previously set volume as long
as this does not exceed the maximum previously set switching on volume
By briefly pressing the rotary knob
function ("MUTE"). The microphone is temporarily switched to mute by briefly pressing
knob. Press the button again to cancel the mute function.
The device is manually switched off by pressing the rotary knob for a longer period
by turning off the vehicle ignition and removing the vehicle ignition key.

Audio source selection

AM/FM
Button
selects radio mode.
CD
Button
selects the internal CD drive as audio source and starts the playback.
MEDIA
Button
cycles through the available data carrier in the sequence USB/IPOD, SD, AUX and
BT AUDIO and selects the one displayed. Data carriers are only displayed if a corresponding data
carrier has been inserted or a corresponding device is connected.

Turn the rotary knob
During setting, the value "VOL 01...31" or "VOL MIN" or "VOL MAX" is shown on the display (not during RDS

Sound and volume settings

By pressing the button
, the menu EQ SET is called up. In this menu, the pre-defined sound settings
POP, ROCK, CLAS or JAZZ can be selected by pressing the corresponding function button.
The respective values are shown in the display during the setting. If the rotary knob

Sound and volume settings are set and saved for each of the audio sources during data carrier playback
and radio operation.
