19. TROUBLESHOOTING

• General
Problem
Power does not turn on. (No sound is produced.)
Nothing happens when buttons are pressed.
Display is not accurate.
• USB Device
Problem
USB device cannot be inserted.
USB device is not recognized.
No sound heard with the display "NO FILE AVAIL-
ABLE" shown.
Sound skips or is noisy.
Video images are not displayed.
• Bluetooth Audio
Problem
Cannot perform remote control for audio stream-
ing.
Audio streaming is choppy when using the con-
nected phone.
Cannot perform Bluetooth Audio connection
Cause
Fuse is blown.
Incorrect wiring.
The microprocessor has malfunctioned due to noise,
etc.
Cause
The USB device has been inserted in the wrong direc-
tion.
The USB connector is broken.
The USB device is damaged.
Connectors are loose.
No supported file is stored in the USB device.
Audio files are not encoded properly.
The parking brake is not engaged.
Cause
AVRCP is not connected.
This is due to excessive Bluetooth activity on a low band-
width link. Some mobile phones will face this problem.
Some SmartPhone is not supported both USB connection
and Bluetooth connection at the same time.

Measure
Replace with a fuse of the same amperage. If the fuse
blows again, consult your store of purchase.
Consult your nearest service centre.

Reverse the direction of the USB device, and try again.
Replace with a new USB device.
Disconnect the USB device and reconnect. If the de-
vice is still not recognized, try replacing with a different
USB device.
Store supported audio files in the USB device.
Use correctly encoded audio files.
Check that the parking brake is engaged.
Measure
Disconnect and connect the device again.
Pair the device again if necessary.
It is advisable not to use the mobile phone while the
audio is streaming.
Unplug the USB connection and try to reconnect
Bluetooth Audio again.
