1. Service hatch 2. Holes for fixing with screws 5:4 FITTING A ROOF FLUE • The boiler may only be fitted with an original Alde flue. • The flue must not be blocked. • The roof flue should be mounted on a level surface (however, a roof pitch of max 30° is acceptable).

5:6 FITTING THE AIR INTAKE/FLUE EXHAUST HOSE • Hose length with roof flue: min 2.0 and max 3.5 m. • Hose length with wall flue: min 0.5 and max 2 m. • Measure up and cut the required length of air intake hose (Ø 75 mm). The flue exhaust hose (Ø 50 mm) should be cut so that it is approximately 50 mm longer than the air intake hose.

The boiler must be connected to an LPG cylinder with a type-approved reducing valve with a pressure of 30 mbar. For increased safety, we recommend fitting an Alde leak detector, type 4071, as close as possible to the reducing regulator.

• Check that all accessories for the heating system are working, and are set correctly, under “Installed Accessories” in Alde’s control panel. For example, booster, under floor heating, engine heating and load monitor. • If Truma AC is fitted and connected to Alde Compact 3020 HE, check that the AC can be started from Alde’s control panel.

8. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS – CONTROL PANEL 3020 013 Control panel 3020 013 is intended for the Alde Compact 3020 HE boiler. The control panel should be located at least one metre above the floor, but not too close to the ceiling. Nor should it be located on an outer wall or close to items which radiate heat, such as a CD player, refrigerator or lamps, as this may result in incorrect temperatures.
