Appendix 4
The I/O conversion characteristics of D/A conversion are the gradient of a straight line connecting an offset value and
a gain value when a digital value written from the CPU module is converted to an analog output value (voltage or
current output).
(1) Offset value
An analog output value (voltage or current) corresponding to the digital value 0 under the condition that the
scaling function and the shift function are not used.
(2) Gain value
An analog output value (voltage or current) corresponding to the following digital value under the condition that
the scaling function and the shift function are not used.
• 12000 (When the output range is set to 0 to 5V, 1 to 5V, 0 to 20mA, 4 to 20mA, user range setting 1, or user
range setting 2)
• 16000 (When the output range is set to -10 to 10V)
