PLAY MODE
Starting the play mode
Turning the mode dial(
)to play mode will allow you to play any pictures or
moving images stored on the memory card.

When play mode is selected the LCD on the top panel will show
the battery status. No other icons will appear on the LCD.
¢ ÷Checking the battery
The standards to decide the condition of the battery is same as the shot
mode and please refer to the 'Indicator for the condition of the battery on
page14.

The LCD monitor will switch itself on automatically.
¶_The last image stored on the memory card will be displayed on the LCD
°ÿ You will not be able to switch the LCD monitor off manually whilst the
camera is in playback mode.

¶UWhen the camera is reading the data on the memory card the green
LED next to the viewfinder will flash. Once all the data has been
read, the green LED will stop flashing.you will need to reset the date
and time.

Press the MENU button
If you press the MENU button with the power on, the setup MENU mode is
displayed.
®A You will now see the menu screen appear on the LCD monitor.

The following conditions will not allow you to enter the menu screen

¶UWhen the battery is exhausted

(1) By pressing the MENU button an introduction screen will appear as

(2) When pressing the up/down directional buttons, the chosen function will
be highlighted on the menu screen.
(3) If you press the ENTER button after highlighting the function item, the
chosen function is selected.
(4) If you press the ENTER button on the menu starting screen, the menu
set mode will be cancelled.
