Close the cover firmly.

Open the cover by lifting
the release button.

Make sure the handles on the
end of the roller lock in place.

Press down on the cover using
both hands until it snaps into place.

If a document jams during
reception, do NOT pull the
document out of the slot. Doing so
could harm the machine.
