Without immersion heater

In conjunction with the immersion heater (on site)

Safety valve (T&P valve) (required accessory)
Always install to protect the DHW cylin-
der against excessive temperatures.
■ Permissible operating pressure 6 bar.
Max. operating temperature 95 °C.
■ It must not be able to be isolated from
the DHW cylinder.

■ Never seal off the discharge pipe.
Expelled water should be safely and
visibly drained into a sewer. Place a
sign on the safety valve with the
inscription:
For safety reasons, hot water
(95 °C) may be discharged from the
discharge pipe during heating.
Arrange the hot water drain so that any
discharged hot water or steam cannot
represent a risk to individuals or dam-
age the system and materials in or on
the building.

Please note
DHW with temperatures in
excess of 60 °C can result in
scalding.
To limit the temperature to
60 °C, install a mixing device,
e.g. a thermostatically control-
led mixing valve (accessory).
