TV Type

You can set the screen ratio of the TV to connect with the camcorder.
1. Touch the Menu (
2. Touch the desired submenu item.
3. To exit the menu, touch the Return (
Submenu items
• 16:9: Select when connecting to a wide screen TV (16:9).
• 4:3: Select when connecting to a standard, analog TV (4:3).
When you connect the camcorder to a TV using an HDMI cable, the camcorder disables this function
and sets the TV output type automatically.

TV Display

When your camcorder is connected to a TV, you can select whether the camcorder's On
Screen Display (OSD) appears on the TV screen.

3. To exit the menu, touch the Return (
Submenu items
• Off : The OSD (On Screen Display) menus appear only on the
camcorder's LCD screen.
• On : The OSD menus appear on the LCD screen and the TV screen.
The menu screen, thumbnail display, and demo screens are shown on the TV even if you set "TV
Display" to "Off."
