Chip card transactions

Please note:
It is mandatory to use the chip when paying with a chip card.

The terminal is in stand-by mode
Enter the transaction amount in cents (e.g. enter 1,000 for the transaction amount of
EUR 10.00). When the amount has been entered, press the green key
To correct the amount, press the yellow key
To abort the transaction, press the red key
Ask the customer to enter the card into the card reader. When the amount has been entered, the
green key must be pressed
To correct the PIN, the yellow key must be pressed
To abort the transaction, the red key must be pressed
If the PIN has been entered correctly, the terminal will establish the connection with the bank
The terminal will print the receipts. After printing the first receipt, tear the receipt off
To print the second receipt faster, press the green key
To cancel printing the second receipt, press the red key
Ask the customer to remove the card from the card reader
