GENERAL SAFETY RULES
)Do not tamper with the power source govenor
settings;the govenor controls the safe maximum
operating speed and protects the power source and
all moving parts from damage caused by over-speed.
Seek authorised service if a problem exists;
2)Do not transport the machine while power source is
running;
3)Shut off the power source and unit disconnect from
supply whenever you leave work area;
4)Do not tilt the machine while the power source is
running.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

) When the machine is stopped for servicing, inspection,
storage, or to change an accessory, shut off the power
source, electric unit disconnect from supply, make
sure that all moving parts have come to a complete
stop and, where a key is fitted remove the key. Allow
the machine to cool before making any inspections,
adjustments, etc.;
2) When servicing the cutting means be aware that,
even though the power source will not start due to the
interlock feature of the guard.
3) shut-off the power unit before attaching or removing
the bag.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY AND PLUG FITTING

WARNING!
n Read these safety instructions thoroughly
before connecting this product to the mains
supply.
n Before switching on, make sure that the
voltage of your electricity supply is the same as
that indicated on the rating plate. This product is
designed to operate on 230-240V~AC 50Hz.
n Connecting it to any other power source may
cause damage.
n This garden shredder may be fitted with a
non-rewireable plug.
n This Garden Shredder is supplied with a fitted
plug, however if you should need to fit a new
plug follow the instructions below.
n If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
ENGLISH
NOTE: If a molded plug is fitted and has to be removed
take great care in disposing of the plug and severed
cable. It must be destroyed to prevent engaging in a
socket.
IMPORTANT
The wires in the mains lead are colored in accordance
with the following code:
Blue — Neutral,
Brown — Live,
As the colors of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the colored markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is colored blue must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with N or colored black.
The wire which is colored brown must be connected to
the terminal which is marked with the letter L or colored
red.
Ensure that the outer sheath of the cable is firmly held by
the clamp.
