REMOVING THE HUMIDITY SENSOR

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all panels before operating.
Failure to do so could result in death or
electrical shock.
CAUTION: When you work on the microwave
oven, be careful when handling the sheet metal
parts. Sharp edges may be present, and you
can cut yourself if you are not careful.
1.
Disconnect the electrical power to the
microwave oven.
2.
Remove the cabinet from the microwave
oven (see page 2-2 for the procedure).
3.
Remove the 2 screws from the top cover.

Remove the mounting screw from the
humidity sensor, lift the sensor and slide
the tab out of the slot in the top cover, and
remove the sensor.

5.
Lift the front of the top cover and bend the
two clips out just enough to remove the
humidity sensor cable from them.

Disconnect humidity sensor connector
CN4 from the electronic oven control board.
