Tips for Reading User's Guides On-Screen
When r eading a ZyXEL User 's Guide On- Screen, keep t he following in m ind:
• I f you don't already have t he lat est version of Ad obe Reader, you can download
it fr om ht t p: / / www.adobe.com .
• Use t he PDF's bookm arks t o quickly navi g at e t o t he areas t hat int erest you.
Adobe Reader 's bookm arks pane opens by default in all ZyXEL User 's Guide
PDFs.
• I f you know t he page num ber or know vaguely which page- range you want t o
view, you can ent er a num ber in t he t oolbar in Reader, t hen pr ess [ ENTER] t o
j um p direct ly t o t hat page.
• Type [ CTRL] + [ F] t o open t he Adobe Read er sear ch ut ilit y and ent er a word or
phrase. This can help you quickly pinpoint t he inform at ion you require. You can
also ent er t ext direct ly int o t he t oolbar in Reader.
• To quickly m ove around wit hin a page, press t he [ SPACE] bar. This t urns your
cursor int o a " hand" wit h w hich you can grab t he page and m ove it around freely
on your screen.
• Em bedded hyperlinks are act ually cr oss- re ferences t o relat ed t ext . Click t hem t o
j um p t o t he corresponding sect ion of t he User 's Guide PDF.
