Recording audio

1. Connect your instrument or microphone

In order to record audio, you'll connect your instrument or microphone to the V-STUDIO 20.

2. Create a new file

Launch Guitar Tracks 4.

From the

In the Name field of the New Project File dialog box, enter the name of the song that you want to create.

A new project will be created.
In this example we're going to record on track 1.

3. Select the input source

Now we'll configure input settings in Guitar Tracks 4 as appropriate for the input you connected.

From the top panel of the VS-20 Hardware, choose the input according to the table below:

Record onboard mic (MIC 1) in stereo
Record MIC 2
Record LINE L/R in stereo
Record GUITAR/BASS
Record GUITAR/BASS on the left channel, and MIC 2 on
the right channel (Simultaneous Recording)

Press [MIC 1]
Press [MIC 2]
Press [LINE]
Press [GUITAR/BASS]
Hold [MIC 2] and press [GUITAR/BASS]
