Fireplace Install
Wiring has been installed if necessary. Verified
clearances to combustibles. (Pg. 8)
Fireplace is leveled and secured. (Pg. 1 5)
Hearth extension size/height decided. (Pg.12)
Finishing
Combustible materials not installed in non-combustible areas.
Verified all clearances meet installation manual requirements.
Mantels and wall projections comply with installation manual requirements.
Hearth extension installed per manual requirements.
Fireplace Setup
All packaging and protective materials removed.
Refractory installed correctly.
Firescreen installed properly.
Manual bag and all of its contents are removed from the fireplace and given to the
party responsible for use and operation.
Screen kit installed properly. (Optional)
Hearth & Home Technologies recommends the following:
• Photographing the installation and copying this checklist for your file.
• That this checklist remain visible at all times on the fireplace until the installation is complete.
