Enjoying Music and Video

You can connect an external display or television to the ATELIER, and use it to
view images from a device connected to the ATELIER.
You can also connect a CD drive (commercially available) and play back
VIMA TUNES (sold separately). While playing a VIMA TUNES song, you can
use the external display or television to view a slide show suitable for the
character of the song, or play along using recommended tones.
VIMA TUNES Screen
In the System Utility screen, touch <VIMA TUNES> to access the "VIMA
TUNES screen" shown below.
Change the key of the song that's playing
Mute the melody portion,
or reduce the volume.
Sounds appropriate for the currently
playing VIMA TUNES song will be
selected automatically.
VIMA TUNES is a Roland
specification for music files that
contains image and lyric data,
allowing you to enjoy songs
with lyrics and images
simultaneously. When data
bearing the "VIMA TUNES"
logo is played back on a
device that bears the same
logo, lyrics can be shown on
the screen of a connected
external display or television,
letting you enjoy karaoke or
watch a slide show.
You can also access the "VIMA
TUNES screen" from the "Rec/
Play screen"(p. 164).
