5. 8-channel mic preamp (Yamaha MLA8)

Since MMP1 does not have built-in mic preamp, you will need to have a mic preamp when

handling microphone signals (including talkback mic). This example uses Yamaha MLA8, an

8-channel mic preamp).

6. Yamaha SWP1 (network switch)

This example requires at least one level-two (L2) switch for Dante audio network, and we

will use Yamaha SWP1 optimized for Dante.

7. Cough box

One cough box mutes only during pressing the COUGH button, another has volume fader or

slider, the others have built-in microphone for Return Talkback (RTB). Connect the cough box to

MMP1 via GPI connectors and configure MMP1 so the following control can be done remotely.

Turn Cough Mute on/off

Turn RTB (Return Talk Back) on/off

Display Cough mute on/off status
