Maximum length L: this is the sum of the lengths of all straight horizontal and vertical sections in one
direction, whether they hold liquid or gas.
Maximum equivalent length L
in one direction, whether they hold liquid or gas, plus the equivalent length of the accessories, basically
elbow joints and bends.
