4. Install the oil seal housing 5 onto the
cylinder block.

5. Apply sealant to the mating surface of the
crankcase.
NOTE:
Do not get any sealant on the journals.

6. Install the dowels 6, crankcase 7 onto
the cylinder block, and then temporarily
tighten the crankcase bolts and nuts.

NOTE:
Apply engine oil to the crankcase bolts and
stud bolts before installation.
7. Install the oil seal housing bolts 8 tight-
en temporarily.
