Carburettor
14.4 Disassemble the carburettor
1.
Remove the cylinder cover and air filter.
2.
Remove the carburettor control (A) by pushing it
towards the carburettor and lifting.
3.
Unhook the throttle cable and remove the choke
control.
4.
Remove the fuel pipe (B) and the impulse channel
(C).
5.
Remove the bolts (D) which secure the filter holder,
carburettor and intake tube.
6.
Loosen the filter holder and lift off the carburettor.
Leave the filter holder in the carburettor space.
7.
Remove the cover (E) over the metering unit and
carefully remove the metering diaphragm (F) and
gasket. See fig. 9.
8.
Remove the screw (G) and take out the needle valve
(H) with lever, spindle and spring. See fig. 9.
9.
Remove the cover (I) over the pump unit and
carefully remove the gasket (J) and pump diaphragm
(K). See fig. 10.
10. Use a needle or the like to carefully remove the fuel
filter (L). See fig. 10.
11. Remove the high and low speed screws. See fig. 11.
12. If necessary, remove the throttle and choke valves
and remove the spindles together with levers and
springs. See fig. 11.
