Specifying paper size using the
operation panel
Use the following procedure to speci-
fy the paper size from the printer's
operation panel after loading paper
into the bypass tray.

Press {Menu}.

Use {U}{T} to display "PRINT-
ER SETUP".

Press {Enter}
TRAY SIZE" appears.

Use {U} {T} to select the paper
size you have specified for the pa-
per tray, and then press {Enter}.

Press {Menu}.
The setting becomes effective.

Sliding out the Output Tray
Extender
If you load paper of A4L or 8
11"L or larger, slide out the output
tray extender.
Important
Do not place the rear end of the
printer near a wall or touch it with
barehands. This area can become
extremely hot.

Note
After printing, return the output
tray extender to its original posi-
tion.
