    Faxing Scan Settings You may want to send many different types of fax messages. Some of these may be difficult to reproduce at the receiver's end. However, your ma- chine has three settings that you can adjust to help you transmit your doc- ument with the best possible image quality.

    Using Internet Fax Functions IP-Fax Function The IP-Fax function sends/receives documents between two facsimiles directly connected to a TCP/IP network. IP-Fax uses SIP and H.323 as the network protocol. Specify an IP address or host name instead of a fax number for sending. When using a gatekeeper, specify its alias telephone number.
