HOW TO CONNECT YOUR C4230 PHONE
The phone cord plugs into the C4230 phone base as shown above. Plug the
other end of the phone cord into a telephone wall jack.
Connect the AC adapter to the back of the base and a 120V wall outlet as
shown above.

MACHINE OPERATIONS
1 On/Off
Press to turn answering
machine ON or OFF.
2 Delete
Press to Delete a message.
3 Play
Press to Play message.

BASE FUNCTION KEYS
4 Speaker – Press to turn speaker
On or Off.
5 Dial Pad – Dial number calling.
6 Boost – Press to add an extra level
of amplification over the entire
range of volume control.
7 Volume – Press to control the
speaker and ringer volumes.
8 Power LED – LED will light up
when the power is on.
9 In Use LED – LED will light up
when the phone is in use.
10 Charge LED – LED will light up
when handset is in base charging.
